PassTheCivicsTest.org is operated by PassTheCivicsTest LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. We provide educational study materials to help people prepare for the U.S. naturalization civics test administered by USCIS.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency. Use of this site does not guarantee any outcome in your naturalization process.

2. Not legal advice

Immigration law is complex, frequently changing, and highly dependent on individual circumstances. Information that is accurate for one person may not apply to another. We make every effort to keep our content accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that all information on this site reflects the most current laws, regulations, or USCIS policies at the time you read it.

For advice specific to your immigration situation, always consult a licensed immigration attorney or an accredited representative recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).

3. Accuracy of content

We work hard to ensure the civics questions, answers, and explanations on this site are accurate and reflect the current USCIS test materials. However:

• USCIS updates the civics test and some answers change over time — particularly answers about current officeholders
• You should always verify current officeholder names at uscis.gov/citizenship/testupdates before your interview
• We are not responsible for errors or omissions in our content, or for any outcome in your naturalization process resulting from reliance on information found on this site

If you find an error in our content, please report it using the feedback form. We take accuracy seriously and will correct errors promptly.

4. Your use of this site

By using PassTheCivicsTest.org, you agree to use it only for its intended purpose — personal, non-commercial study for the U.S. naturalization civics test. You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or sell any content from this site without our written permission
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract content from this site
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its underlying systems
• Use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

Free access to the study guide is provided for personal, individual use. You may not share paid account credentials or use a single subscription to provide access to multiple people.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Free tier

Access to the free tier of PassTheCivicsTest.org requires no account and no payment. Free features are provided as-is and may be changed or discontinued at any time.

Pro subscription

The Pro subscription is billed monthly. Your subscription will automatically renew each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again after cancellation but will retain access through the end of the period you paid for.

We offer a 24-hour free trial for new Pro subscribers. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. After the trial period, your subscription will begin and your payment method will be charged.

Refunds

We offer a full refund within 24 hours of your first paid charge if you are not satisfied. After 24 hours, we do not offer refunds. To request a refund, contact us at billing@passthecivicstest.org.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your credit card information.

6. Intellectual property

The civics questions and official answers used on this site are drawn from publicly available USCIS materials, which are works of the U.S. federal government and in the public domain.

All original content on this site — including our explanations, memory hooks, thematic clusters, study guide text, design, and code — is the property of PassTheCivicsTest LLC and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without written permission.

If you believe any content on this site infringes your copyright, please contact us at legal@passthecivicstest.org with details of the claimed infringement.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

PassTheCivicsTest.org is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The site will be available at all times or free from errors
• The content is complete, accurate, or current
• Use of the site will result in passing the naturalization civics test
• The site is free from viruses or other harmful components

Your use of the site is entirely at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PassTheCivicsTest LLC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site, including but not limited to:

• Any outcome in your naturalization process
• Reliance on any information found on this site
• Errors or inaccuracies in our content
• Interruption or unavailability of the site

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of this site shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

9. Third-party links and resources

This site contains links to external websites, including USCIS.gov, the ACLU, the National Immigrant Justice Center, and other organizations. These links are provided for your convenience and information only. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Linking to a third-party site does not imply our endorsement of that site or its content.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
